The Campbell Brewing Company Building
Campbell, CA
This 35,000 square foot building houses two functions. One is a brewery/restaurant and the other is a dividable banquet hall that can hold up to 800 people. It has two separate kitchens, a brewery and a 50 car ground level parking garage in the back. The building occupied most of the block yet it could not be imposing. It had to fit well within its downtown surroundings and have an articulated façade with traditional detailing.

Legacy Bank
Campbell, CA
The clients wanted a traditional, almost classic feel to the bank interior, with traditional materials and detailing. To this end stained wood, marble and tile are predominant materials throughout the space. A unique feature is the hand made tiles with the Legacy bank logo surrounded by the traditional Campbell orchard fruits. The tiles are set in the teller window pedestals.

Originally a dilapidating 2,200 square foot house with historic references was turned into a 3,800 square foot office building in downtown Campbell. With only a quarter of the original residence remaining in the front, an addition was placed in the back and a second story added, while keeping the original design style and character intact. Numerous city and historical board requirements had to be satisfied.

Bruno Marcelic Architect Office building
Campbell, CA
This oldest commercial building in Campbell was built in 1895 and was the original Bank of Campbell. The building has been completely renovated and now houses my office. The improvements include a seismic retrofit; removal of layers of paint; repairing and repionting of the brick; repairing and refinishing of windows and trim; repairing and refinishing of the wood floor; upgrading the electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems. The challenging part of this project was to properly restore the old building while preserving the original character.
